A month ago a friend of mine passed away. Some would say she was way too young, 53 and others would say she lived life to the fullest. Desca was an artist, a philanthropist, an activist, and the mayor of her town! Literally! ...anyhow she loved mermaids, martinis and smoking her cigarettes. I drew this mermaid the day of her funeral and plan to paint it soon.Cheers Desca! We will always love you!
