Thursday Threads: Sweat It Off

It's summer, it's hot and in Miami it's rainy! As you might know 6 weeks ago today I had a beautiful baby boy, so I am on a mission to get back in shape. I have lost all the weight but now need to firm up the squish. This past weekend I was in Old Navy and found their active wear section (I had never been back there). I was so impressed...here are some of my finds!

They have these pants and tanks in all sorts of different colors. They are really great! I spent most of my day yesterday in a set like this.

Why I've Been MIA This Year...

I'm delivering a baby boy this Thursday. Balancing work, family, community service and friends during a pregnancy is tough...so that's why I've been MIA. I know this may not be news to some of you...but I wanted to put it out there.

I am officially on maternity leave, so I hope to maybe post more often...I'll certainly be posting over on the family blog The Florida Room.

Music Monday: Luck-o-the-Irish a la Van Morrison

Happy St. Patrick's Day! In honor of the Irish in all of us, I'm dedicating today's Music Monday to Van Morrison and one of my favorite songs by him, Into the Mystic. As I cannot enjoy any Bushmills or a Smithwicks today, I have been listening to Van.

Garage sales, twinkly toes, Reconfigured book shelves, artists at work, Barbie and a movie with my Mini. Those were the highlights of my week.
