Art Talk Tuesday: Circles

A friend of mine at work today was wearing a shirt with this pattern on it. On her shirt it was white sheer on light white, and it absolutely captivated me and I put it to paper...digital paper on my iPad. I'm thinking it could look really great in two shades of blue or yellow.

Thursday Threads: Trunk Treasures

My friend Veronica is a Stella and Dot stylist, and her friend owns the Trunk Boutique. Together they styled these great looks for the fall which I think you will like!

I love love love green this fall. HOw pretty foes it look with these golden hued treasures from Stella and Dot?!

This beautiful top can be worn as a tunic with leggins and boots! Look how pretty the turquoise Stella and Dot La Coco necklace looks with this color! You can then layer great bracelets from Stella and Dot like the renegade and the coil bracelet.

It's Mini's birthday AND it's election night. I hope everyone voted. We were up ay 6:15am and in line by 6:45am...it took us 2 hours!

Music Monday: Isn't She Lovely

Every time I hear this song, I think of my sweet baby girl. Tomorrow she is going to be TWO! It's crazy to think that two years ago today I was MEGO prego and enjoying our first cold snap of the year. I didn't know that in the middle of the night the wheel would get in true motion and by lunch the next day I'd have my sweet girl. I often daydream of her dancing to this song with her Daddy at her wedding someday.

Stevie Wonder's Isn't She Lovely is my song of inspiration today. I dedicate it to my Mini who I love more than life itself and in who's eyes I see all the hope and joy there is in the world.

Thursday Threads: Stella and Dot for a Cause

Hi! I know it's been a while. Last week was so busy and then I got really sick--- fever running off and on for 3 days until I went to see the doctor, who then Rx-ed me up and sent me to bed for the rest of the week...literally. So here I am, feeling a little better and blogging again and what better day to write on than Thursday!
Today I am featuring Stella and Dot as I am hosting a trunk show (which can also be accessed ONLINE if you cannot be here on Saturday) which is benefiting the Junior Orange Bowl Festival. The JOBC is the home to the largest youth arts and sports festival in the world, having hosted the likes of Tiger Woods and Chris Everet! My husband is the Chair of the JOBC this year, so it was my pleasure to do something fun for this cause.

Here are two of my favorite pieces in the collection...
There are so many treasures though! I've enjoyed wearing Stella and Dot for years and always look forward to adding to my collection.
