17 days. That's how long I have to wait until I know what Baby Sles is. The anticipation is killing me...but I know that it like everything in life, is going to be worth the wait.
I have to say there are a few things in life that really bug me...
1. When people pronounce my nickname, "CEECEE" instead of "Cehcee"...its spelled Ceci, not Ceecee or Cici people!
2. Running late.
3. Martyrs (and not in the religious sense).
4. When people question WHY I want to know the sex of the baby.
Let's focus on #4 on my list.
I want to know the sex of the baby (rather we want to know the sex of the baby) for a good number of reasons....
1. It's our baby.
2. Science lets us.
3. It's going to be a surprise when we find out at the sonogram too!
4. I like to plan.
5. I like to be efficient.
6. Last time I checked, the miracle of life is happening inside of me...not you.
Ok...so 17 days to go! Hope you had a great weekend.
I broke down and called to reschedule my appt for like a week early... the nurse talked me down and I kept my original appt. That, of course, was one of the MANY times I've called with questions :) PS. I think it's a girl! Can't wait to find out!
ReplyDeleteYAY! That is such an exciting appt!!
ReplyDeleteI know I have to be strong...we'll see. Only 17 days to go...I think it's a girl too.
ReplyDeleteI found you through Kristin!
ReplyDeleteI'm 20 weeks and found out yesterday that we are having a girl. I'm thrilled. I was so annoyed whenever people questioned our decision to find out the sex of the baby. I said that it's going to be a surprise now or in October!
a. I COMPLETELY agree with you, that's our point! Anyhow---thanks for finding me. :)
ReplyDeleteYou tell 'em Mama!
ReplyDeleteI think that it is a boy... seems like a little extra testosterone may be pumping through those veins...
Best wishes on your appointment. It will be so deliciously exciting either way!
hugs
Well, just remember, now that the miracle of life is inside of you, you will find out just how annoying other people can be around your pregnant self. It won't just be with names, but a whole slew of issues... Just ignore them and remember, we've all been there. (well, maybe not ALL of us, but enough of us...)
