Art Talk Tuesday: Thanksgiving by Paul Frank

Week of Thanksgiving Day 2: I am thankful for you! Everyday I sit at my computer and write about the things that inspire me, music, art, fashion and my family/friends. Yet, there you are, reading about these things and actually telling me your thoughts on topics I bring up. I may not know you, but I adore our cyber relationship! Thank you for reading! I love hearing from you.

Since it is Art Talk Tuesday, I thought I would turn my attention to one of my favorite pop designers, Paul Frank. When I was in college I first discovered Paul Frank and said that I would always wear his clothes and accessories. Here I am over a decade later and not only is it true, but my daughter has "zapatos de mono" (monkey shoes) and her birthday party was a Paul Frank party. His website use to have these cartoon shorts which were so funny! Today the site is still very interactive and engaging. You should visit!

Above is a coloring sheet that I plan on printing and having available for the girls to color on Thanksgiving. It'll be a fun way to keep them entertained...even if it is only for 3 minutes.

Hope you are having a great Thanksgiving Week!!

Music Monday: Gobble Gobble Gee

It's Thanksgiving week, time to reflect and give thanks for our blessings. This week I will be giving thanks for the things that fill my life. Today I am thankful for my family, from my Mini to my mom, my hubs, my in law family and cousins...all of them! The neices, the Godchildren every single one of them. My family will always be there, they are part of my first memories. I love them all dearly and I am so thankful to have them.
Since it's Music Monday I wanted to share my favorite Thanksgiving song with you. Unfortunately, there are no great Thanksgiving songs, except for Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving Song.  Gobble gobble gee and gobble gobble goo! If you are too young to remember this...you should really watch it. If you stayed up along with me...enjoy and relive the magic!

XOXO

Thursdar Threads: Tech Thursday

It's not clothes I'm coveting...it's a new phone. I've had the same Samsung Galaxy phone for over 2 years, these days I refer to it as Phoneasaurus Rex, but a few of my friends call it the "piece of sh*t phone". My husband has been cyber stalking Best Buy waiting for black iPhone 5's to come in for Sprint...so far NADA...and I've been due for an update since the beginning of October!

Worst/best part my friend Kristin of Summer in Newport, has the cutest iPhone 5 covers you can personalize! Ugh..I WANT!

Art Talk Tuesday: Circles

A friend of mine at work today was wearing a shirt with this pattern on it. On her shirt it was white sheer on light white, and it absolutely captivated me and I put it to paper...digital paper on my iPad. I'm thinking it could look really great in two shades of blue or yellow.

Hope you are having a nice week so far!

Thursday Threads: Trunk Treasures

My friend Veronica is a Stella and Dot stylist, and her friend owns the Trunk Boutique. Together they styled these great looks for the fall which I think you will like!

I love love love green this fall. HOw pretty foes it look with these golden hued treasures from Stella and Dot?!
This beautiful top can be worn as a tunic with leggins and boots! Look how pretty the turquoise Stella and Dot La Coco necklace looks with this color! You can then layer great bracelets from Stella and Dot like the renegade and the coil bracelet.
If you are in Miami and are interested in seeing Michelle's treasure trove just give her a ring and tell her I sent you! Michelle Aguila 305 331-7819.  You can also reach out to Veronica to host a trunk show at your house like I did last weekend. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for my packages!

Happy Shopping!
