This week is horribly busy with all of my work and my volunteer work too... I will probably post on Friday but that's all.

Thursday Threads: Monogram Arm Candy

My friend Kristin Pearce is at it again. These monogrammed cuffs are new to her collection of goodies. I fell in love immediately and bought one for my sister-in-law's upcoming birthday. They come in all sorts of designs, and ways to personalized the cuff. You can find them on Kristin's website for $20!KP also writes a super fun blog, you should read it!

Art Talk Tuesday: Chicago Baby!

My dear friend and family blogger, Meg just added another sweet boy to her family. Baby C is beyond cute, and in my opinion the spitting image of his father. The S Family lives in Chicago, and boy do they LOVE living in Chicago. This is a sketch of Baby C's painting for his nursery. I think it perfect for a little boy in the windy city who lives by the lake...what do you think?

Music Monday: The Moon is Made of Gold

Ricky Lee Jones's sweet voice may not be new to some, but when I first heard her singing,
"The Moon is Made of Gold" I could not stop listening. This is one of those cases where the voice and the person don't seem to match (think Rick Astley). However, a sweet and haunting voice it is, and the song is so pretty. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you had a nice weekend. I may or may not have broken toes.

Thursday Threads: There's No Place Like Home

HALLELUJAH! THEY LISTENED! Tom's has brought their red glitter happy shoe to their women's collection! This is a shoe my daughter has, which I have been wanting so badly for a year! I AM SO HAPPY! I need them so so so bad! You can find them online here.

Another item that had to make its way home with me this week...

Mine is similar...more gold and CZ with the emeralds. Mine was also not $400++ like this one...mine is from Bozkurt in Miami and was under $100! The owner of Bozkurt, Rosie is a stylish and energetic woman who has filled this space for about 4 years now. Every time I walk in I find something else I love. They don't have a website, but this is a review.  I'm going to wear it this weekend to the Coral Gables Community Foundation Gala.

Music Monday: Ghosts ...BOO!

I found it rather appropriate to write about a song called "Ghosts" during the month of October. I love October...Halloween! Well, The Head and the Heart's song "Ghosts" isn't some spooky number, it's a fun and whimsical ride. I have found myself singing it a lot over the course of the past few weeks. I hope you like it. I love the richness of the piano and the playful melody.
